GUJRANWALA, July 28: A 12-year-old servant was tortured and thrown in a hospital by two brothers in Wapda Town here on July 27. Ihsan and Osama, both brothers, had employed 12-year-old Imran, son of Ramazan of Multan, for Rs 3,000 per month. The accused used to engage the boy in work round-the-clock and had not paid him for the last five months. The accused severely thrashed the boy when he demanded salary. Later, they threw the boy on the DHQ Hospital premises. After getting information, the Child Protection Bureau officials reached the hospital and took the boy in their custody. The Sadr police are investigating. No case was registered till the filing of the case.
